Hemroids???During Pregnancy?

By admin

I am very cranky I have a hemroid the size of my thumb, I have tryed everything too get rid of it Im 29 weeks pregnant am I going too have this for the remainder of my pregnancy? I was told too use tucks but any home remidies ? something that maybe wont hurt the baby? not that tucks will just extra advice would help? thanks!

Sorry you’re having this problem. It’s pretty common with pregnancy, and the best thing you can do is to get plenty of fiber and liquids so your stools don’t become any harder than they should be. Other than that, the Tucks will help, as will warm (not hot) baths. Avoid sitting or riding for long periods and continue to get exercise as much as possible. Walk, walk walk. Not to depress you, but sometimes when you’re in labor, they can actually get worse, so even the end of the pregnancy doesn’t guarantee they’ll go away. A donut pillow will help with the pain. Just follow your doc’s advice and it will all be worth it when you hold your sweet baby.

A hemorrhoid cream will work better and it is safe to use when you are pregnant.

Tucks are just witch hazel soaked pads. Buy a bottle of witch hazel instead, haha.
Hemorrhoids take time to heal, and tend to recur during pregnancy and delivery. Oh gosh, I got a hemorrhoid giving birth that didn’t heal for like a year.
If you’re having to strain to poop, try a stool softener. Straining to go makes hemorrhoids worse. Try to not sit in one place for too long. Oh and a bath in epsom salts can help a lot too.
