Hi Joshua A,
Please remember all the pills and creams are only a temporary relief. The Drug companies would have us believe otherwise but its not so.
Pills and creams treat the problem BUT not the cause thats the reason why they will come back again in most cases.
I would strongly suggest a Natural Relief method and one that gets rid of them permanently.
Please take a good look here and inform yourself http://hubpages.com/hub/picturesofthrombosedhemorrhoids
References :
http://hubpages.com/hub/picturesofthrombosedhemorrhoids

Sitz Bath Healing Way
A sitz bath (also hip bath) is a bath in which only the buttocks are soaked in saline solution (salt water). Sitz baths are most commonly recommended. Soak in a hot shallow bath for 10 to 20 compress, 3 to 4 times a day if possible.

Ice packs help reduce swelling. Make own ice packs by placing ice into a plastic bag. Wrap the bag with a thin cloth. (Don't apply ice directly.) Clean the anal area thoroughly with soap and water then place the ice pack on the hemroid. Apply the ice for 20 compress or so, rest fo 20 compress and repeat this cycle as needed.

Free Healing: Hemroids and Diet
Before we get to medicines that can be used, diet is a very important factor. It is beneficial to always have a high-fiber diet, but is even more important when hemroids are apparent. High fiber-diet sources are whole grains, vegetables and fruits. Drinking plenty of non alcoholic liquids is essential.

Bulk fiber supplements such as psyllium (Metamucil) or methylcellulose (Citrucel), can be taken daily to prevent recurrences of hemorrhoids.

The best way to prevent hemorrhoids is to keep stools soft so they pass easily, thus decreasing pressure and straining. Exercise, including walking, and increased fiber in the diet help reduce constipation and straining by producing stools that are softer and easier to pass.

An immediate-acting stool softener and laxative which will both promote elimination without straining and stopping further aggravating of hemroids.

Geranium-Lavender and Essential Oil
Mix lavender Geranium in a 3:2 ratio with one ounce of almond oil. Shake thoroughly and apply a few drops to toilet tissue and apply to the hemroid.

Personal Hygiene
Cleanse the entire rectal area with warm water after each bowel movement.

Cushions
Sitting on doughnut-shaped cushions to relieve pressure. Again, this offers only temporary relief.

There are many types of over-the-counter hemroid remedies. The most popular of these remedies is hemroid cream. Usually containing a numbing agent, hemroid cream is designed to soothe pain and swelling. Hemroid cream varies wildly from anesthetic or homeopathic to hydrocortisone and it also comes in the forms of ointment and foam. The idea is to temporarily relieve the discomfort, thereby allowing the natural process of healing to occur.

Herbal Treatment
The herb Horse Chestnut has been used for centuries to provide relief. The alcoholate of the nut has anesthetic and anti-inflammatory properties providing relief from varicosis and hemroids. Horse Chestnut is still the desired treatment among Europeans.

By following all these suggestions, the pain, discomfort and swelling of most symptomatic hemroids should decrease in 2 to 7 days, and lumps should recede within four to six weeks. If there is no noticeable changes using these techniques, then invasive procedures by a medical professional may be necessary.

Flavonoids, a constituent found in dark berries and some plants, help restore the integrity of the vasculature. The following are flavonoids that may be taken in dried extract form as noted. • Catechin (150 mg two to three times per day), quercetin (250 mg three to four times per day), hesperidin (250 mg three to four times per day), and rutin (250 mg three to four times per day). • Rose hips (Rosa canina) and green tea (Camellia sinensis) are also high in flavonoids and either one may be used as a tea. Drink three to four cups/day. • Stone root (Collinsonia canadensis) and horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) can be used to strengthen blood vessel walls (60 drops tincture twice a day).

Take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of cayenne in a glass of water to stop bleeding hemorrhoids. Take cayenne for several days until the hemorrhoids are gone, then once or twice a week for a good maintenance dose. This will clear up hemorrhoids and keep them from reoccurring. The cayenne helps the blood flow better.

A diet consisting of a lot of cranberries is supposed to be beneficial.

Lobelia - Make a wash by mixing one ounce of lobelia extract, one ounce of Baptisia extract, one ounce of zinc sulfate, with 13 ounces of water; shake well and use frequently - good for itching and pain.

Apply the extract of Echinacea to the affected area with clean cotton; a teaspoonful in a pint of water may be injected into the rectum. This will help relieve itching and pain.

Nutritional supplements that may be helpful - A number of flavonoids have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and/or to strengthen blood vessels. These effects could, in theory, be beneficial. Most, 4 5 6 7 but not all, 8 double-blind trials using a group of semi-synthetic flavonoids (hydroxyethylrutosides derived from rutin) have demonstrated significant improvements in itching, bleeding and other symptoms associated when people used supplements of 600–4,000 mg per day.

Other trials have evaluated Daflon, a product containing the food-derived flavonoids diosmin (90%) and hesper
References :
http://www.hemroids.us

Go to your pharmacy and purchase Proctasydel...or it's less expensive generic Soove. Do not purchase any other as this is the best. This has a cortisone to assist in healing. Now when you pruchase it and open the packet you will find a plastic dispenser (shaped like a syringe) which fits and screws on the tube. Fill the dispenser from the tube...and dispense it in the anus as deep as possible. Do this twice a day for a week (7 days)..or follow the directions (whichever you prefer). Wella....you are cured!
References :
You can get something over the counter. Also try not to strain so much when you go to the bathroom. That's what causes them.
