I Have Some Questions About Hemroids……?
1. Do hemroids only appear on the anus or other parts of the body as well?
2. How to doctors determine whether or not you have hemroids, is there a physical test involved?
3. Do you need a pescription for any type of hemroid treatments like lotions and cremes?
Haemorrhoids are dilated veins or lumps of veins that appear at the anus. When similar lumps appear elsewhere you do not call them haemorrhoids.
2.Doctors can diagnose them by looking at them and by
rectal examination. Examination can be done with the finger or using a proctoscope
3. Certain haemorrhoidal creams can be obtained without a prescription provided they have been used earlier.
eg. Xyloproct cream, Anusol cream
By the way if one is worried about the examination by a doctor I say that these examinations are painless.
