Can't Use Bathroom, May Have Hemroids?
i haven't been feeling too great lately and i usually go to the bathroom like once a day but here lately, even when i feel like going, i can't. i know that there's something there trying to escape but just can't get it to come out. its embarrassing but i did tell my mom…and she bought me laxatives and stuff and 3 days ago i took 3 of them and didn't see any big change but did go that night. and now, it seems as if something is there stopping it. how do i know if i have hemoroids and if i do, is there any way to cure them at home? thanks so much
should i drink a bit of castor oil?
i'm thinking i need to eat more fruits and veggies because ive been eating a lot of "junk" for the past couple of weeks because i'm always on the go and grab whatever is easy to eat in the car. but then i read that eating too much fiber can also cause this. so maybe i just need to adjust my diet and see what happens? and if nothing improves, go to the doctor? i have gas, but nothing's moving out…lol.
drink more water, Drink a glass or 2 of prune juice or eat prunes. sounds like you are constipated yet. If you had hemorrhoids, you would feel them, like a grape(could be smaller or larger or more than 1) protruding from your anus. It is bulging blood vessels. They itch and burn and hurt and caused by straining hard to go poop. Pregnant women often get them because of increased pressure in that area. If you feel something like that, get a good finger full of Vaseline and gently push it back up inside. There is medication available over the counter called Preparation H that is an astringent, meaning it will help shrink them. Go to Mayo Clinic, com and look up constipation and hemorrhoids for other tips to care for them. if you don't have anything sticking out, you may just be royally constipated. Good luck. I've been there.

go to the doctor, seriously, they can get you treatment for what may be just a small problem. Don't let that go for too long, that could get pretty serious

Hemmorhoids do not cause constipation. They just cause pain and bleeding and itching when you go. You need to adjust your diet to include more water and fiber. If it continues, then you need to see the Dr.

If you had hemorrhoids there would be big vainy things around your butthole.
If you're feeling like something is there that's stopping you from going to the bathroom, you should probably see a doctor. It could be more serious then just being constipated.

They have preperation H medicated wipes to use instead of toilet paper, take sitz baths (just soak in the tub in warm water) for at least 20-30 minutes everyday (twice a day if you can) and you will start to feel better. Maybe try a stool softner also….if it's not better in a week or 2 I would at least check with a doctor…good luck.

Go to the doctor, hemerhoids will not "stop" you, it will just feel like needles in your butt, and they bleed, and itch. There could be another problem, and you should get to the dr ASAP, dont be embaressed, the doc is only concerned about your health. and i think you need to get to the doctor. Only because you dont feel good and took laxatives, and still nothing came out.

This to me doesn't sound like hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids don't cause constipation (that I know of), but they can cause pain during a bowel movement, bleeding and at times you can see them protrude.
Constipation maybe? Try eating more fiber or even drinking coffee can help. I would also suggest going to a doctor.

Hemorrhoids will be painful. Sometimes they are internal, sometimes external. If you have pain, especially when trying to push, it could be hemorrhoids. Prep H is pretty lame to tell the truth. Prescription Anusol HC comes in a suppository cream, or pads. DON"T use laxatives as this will exacerbate(make worse) the problem. Do use Docusate Sodium which is a stool softener. Drink at least 8-10 8 oz glasses of water a day, eat whole grains, and lots of fruits and veggies that have high fiber content. If none of this works, or you start to get a fever or nausea, see a doctor ASAP.

I have the same problem as you do. It is called constipation which can cause hemorrhoids. You would know if you had hemorrhoids because they hurt, burn and itch. You need to start drinking more water. You should have at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day. And you also need to add more fiber to your diet. If all that does not work, then try taking Citracil. You can buy it over the counter. It is all natural and won't hurt you it just adds more fiber to your system, which then will promote better bowel habits. I hope you feel better soon, because I know how it is. If you don't get any better after all of that then please see a doctor. And please tell you Mom. And by the way Laxatives are not always the best thing to be using. Can be a little harsh.

Stop right there. You could have an obstruction within the bowels and need to get evaluated. Im so glad you told your mom. Hemorrhoids, are common with those constipated. Have you tried a high fiber diet? The hemorrhoids will always be there until surgically removed. There are ways to relieve them for the time being. High fiber diet and when flared soak into a warm tub of water (some prefer soaking in epsom salt bath. You need to get evaluated from a physician, to give you an accurate diagnosis of why your constantly constipated.

Ummm, according to your diet as of now, your not eating any fiber, all junk. Doesn't matter. I eat junk all the time and have a bowel movement twice a day. You need to get evaluated by physician.

Have your mom buy Metamucil. (lots of fiber) You just mix it with water & drink.
The Drs. have heard it all, so don't be embarrassed to go. They'll most likely give you a prescription (pills) for the constipation. You are far from the first person to go to the Dr. for constipation or hemorrhoids.
& hemorrhoids usually do not have to be sugically removed. That statement is false. They will shrink & go away on there own most of the time.
Don't strain to go to the bathroom. THAT can cause hemorrhoids.
The other desciptions are pretty accuate. Pain, itching, sometimes they bleed.

PLEASE dont drink Castrol oil… what are you thinking?? If laxatives did not work try drinking prune juice – I know that sounds weired but prune juice is a wonderful natural laxative – why do you think old people drink it so much
– if that does not work – you may need to go to a clinic or call a nurse hotline of some sort Kaiser Permanente has one… you should check it out.. good luck
