Internal Hemroids

Monday, August 4th, 2008

Internal hemroids are hemroids that reside inside the anal/rectal cavity; with a severe case of internal hemroids they may bulge out - this is called Prolapsed Internal Hemroids.

INTERNAL HEMROIDS SYMPTOMS
# Blood in stool (this can a sign of other illness - consult your doctor immediately)
# Feelings of pressure or fullness in the rectal cavity
# Rectal pain
# Rectal itching
# Oftentimes internal hemroids have no symptoms

INTERNAL HEMROIDS TREATMENT
# Sitz baths
# Ice packs
# Using a hemroid pillow when sitting
# High fiber diet
# 8 glasses/water per day
# 20 minute walk 3x/week
# Cotton underwear
# Loose, breathable clothing
# Using a hemroid pillow when sitting
# Hydrocortisone cream to reduce inflammation
# Nutritional supplements containing flavonoids

Having tried all the internal hemroid treatment methods above without success, you might want to look into the HMiracle - it’s what finally worked for me.

hemroid, 2nd degree..how serious?

Friday, August 7th, 2009

um, my stools been hard for the last 3 weeks or so, maybe because I am stressed and whenever I am, I can’t really control what I eat which means dropping all veggies and fruit.
two weeks ago I noticed some little blood in the water, none after that until 3 days ago I passed a hard one fast and shit all water turned red I almost passed out…yeah, I have fear of blood :<
anyways I went to my family doc first day in the morning and he told me that I have an internal hemroid 2nd degree, he said that he couldn’t be sure so he reffered me to a surgeon to evaluate the condition. I called and got an appointment for next week, now I’ve been hearing how nasty hemroids can be but I am not feeling any pain at all, just some itching after taking a dump.
I am taking some medications for it until next week, but I am panicking here, I don’t know what to think really…anyone went through this?

ive had some slight bleading before but never so much the the toilet water changed colors.

IBS and Fissures??………….?

Friday, July 24th, 2009

I have had IBS for the past 2 years now and have been dealing with a fissure and internal hemroids I guess for the past year and a half… I have gone through all the testing and ointments diet changing, seen a surgeon about removing it blah blah blah… and basically all they say is that I have to be patient it will heal on its own and I have to make sure I eat lots and lots of Fiber (which I do)

It seems as though red meat like steaks is pretty tough on my system and doesn’t digest properly and seems to reopen my fissure every time I do eat it. The reason why I do even though it bothers me is because I could use the Iron.. i’ve tried iron pills but they make you really constipated thus not helping the fissure heal..

My question is - why is it that it seems to go away for long periods of time.. then all of a sudden boom its there again and it takes just as long to heal which is a pain in the butt… and second.. is this normal for this to happen on and off ..especially for this long?

could be stress. that plays a huge part.

Anal Fissures-What to do after all has been done?

Friday, July 10th, 2009

After I had my son 5 and a half months ago, I got anal fissures and internal hemroids. I have been to 4 doctors and the hemroids have been healed but they can’t fix my fissures. The last doctor I went to told me that I was too young for the surgery or cutting the muscle down there. I have used all the prescription medicines and live in the bath tub. Has anyone heard anything NEW other then drinking gallons of water a day?
The pain is awful. While going to the restroom I fill the toilet with blood and after I can’t sit for 6 hours!

I’d suggest going to see a different doctor. No reason not to get a second opinion. I’d start eating lots of fiber and perhaps using stool softeners or laxatives so your fissures can heal. I’d just start downing veggies all day, cut down on carbs and large amounts of animal protein. I think if you can stay on the softeners for a month as well as eating lots more fiber, you could have a chance to heal them… I’d still go get another opinion… can’t hurt anyway. Good luck… I hope you start feeling better soon!

is this a hemroid?? HELP!!!?

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

hi. im 20 and i think i mite have an internal hemroid. there is a little little blood when I wipe and it feels like a cut almost inside of me. Please do you know if they sell like cream in stores? like cvs/eckerd for internal hemroids. im freaking out!! or do i have to go to a doctor or get it removed! im so scared help!

Don’t freak out, it may be something, it may be nothing.
Just make an appointment with your doctor.
There isn’t anything anyone on here can do to help you, sorry.
And even if it is nothing, it’s better to get it checked out just in case.
Calm down, I’m sure you’ll be okay if you get it checked out right away.

Can I poop after taking a suppository?

Friday, June 26th, 2009

I have internal hemroids, and my doctor prescribed a suppository for me to take twice daily. Well, I took mine, but now I have to poop.. Can I still go to the restroom? Or do I have to wait a period of time for my suppository to kick in?

Thanks

inserting the suppository causes the rectum to feel the urge, try to ignore it if you can, if you push the suppository out, it does you no good.

What are some things some of you have done to get rid of your internal hemorrhoids?

Friday, June 12th, 2009

I have ordered some rue care oil, and have thought about harry's hemroids are any of these credible.
Or what are some other soutions.

Please answer my question directly and dont tell me to eat healthier because I have done that 20-25 grams of fiber daily and 8-10 glasses of water daily.

Baloney to the surgery bit. The problem is your diet. They won't go away but they will be completely no problem and you won't even know they are there. I've only had one or two small flare ups in the past 42 years. You need to eat healthy. More dark green veggies, less red meat, more fish, fruit daily eaten alone. Eating smaller amounts too. A good multivitamin, and 1,000 mg vitamin C daily. Cut back on carbs. ***Eat more fiber.**** Talk to some health food enthusiast and you'll catch on to a lifestyle change that will make you look and feel so much better. Good luck.

Back pain with hemroids?

Friday, June 5th, 2009

About a month ago, I noticed it was getting more and more painful to go to number 2. Then noticed it was bleeding really bad, and I went to the doctor and she confirmed it. They're internal hemroids, but just for the past few weeks, after going to the bathroom I have this major back pain. It's located near the "kidneys" I guess thats where it is. That's what I was told. Is this normal? I have had medications but nothing works. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

I think they are two different things, actually. If the doc hasn't done any lab work to check and see what's going on with your kidneys, then perhaps you pulled some lower back muscles straining at stool while constipated. However, hemroids and muscle pain, or whatever pain don't sound connected unless you have pulled muscles pooping. Make sure to take care of the high fiber, more fluid intake in your diet and the hemroids will stop being such an issue. If that stops and the back pain stops then perhaps they were connected. If you are following your hemroid treatment properly and you are still having pain, then something else is going on.
