I have a question about my hemroids.?

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

I have a lot of external hemroids but there is one that looks different, it is one big one but in the middle of the hemroid is black and blue. It hurts really bad especially when I go to the bathroom. I have diarea. Please I have had hemroids before when I was pregnant but now I am not pregnant but this one looks different than the hemroids that I am used to. Is this normal the way it looks?

Try going to google and searching their pictures for hemroids. You'll see several to compare with.

In the event it does not go away over a short period of time I would suggest seeing a doctor. I'm in the same boat. Good luck.

Do external hemroids go away?

Friday, October 10th, 2008

I have had this hemroid for a week now, it started off huge and red, now with the help of prep h it is very small and more flesh pink color. It doesnt burn or itch anymore but just the simple sight of it being there and feeling on my anus is very frustrating and embaressing.

I've read about treatment and everything like that, what i really need to know is how long untill it completely goes away? I've read on sites that people say they simply don't, which is wierd to me. Because i remember having one in 2004, and it did go away i just cant remember how long really. I didnt even treat it or anything thats all i know. So now 4 years later i have a hemroid agian, i just want to know a rough estimate on how long it will be untill it's gone.

I'm sure no one is like o well it doesnt hurt or anything, so i'll just live with a big bumpy thingy on my anus for the rest of my life. I want this thing gone, as i said it has gone down a heck of alot in terms of size and pain. please help

The reason you get the "hemroids never go away" answer is because they don't. It's part of your body and has been there since you were born.

What's bothering you is the swelling of the hemroids tissue. This usually will subside in a week or two. Keep using your Prep H. If the condition becomes chronic, you can have surgery to remove the tissue.
