hemroid surgery?

Hi there. I need very urgent advice here. I've been suffering terrible hemroids almost last 3 months which is bleeding , itching and very sore. I have tried almost every thing and my doctor told me I should try surgery. But I dont think its real good idea because mine is not really big which I saw on internet, but still very uncomfortable. I'm going to my doctor in 2 days time which I have to let her know I'm having surgery or not. Please anyone here had surgery , is it really painful? help me

I haven't, but I wish I could. Go for it, get them off of you. They are only going to get worse and worse, and then you will wish you had done it. Whatever pain the surgery causes is better than a lifetime of ass pain.

You'll be sitting on a foam donut for awhile. All surgeries create discomfort. It all depends on how bad it is. If it gets bad enough then you will do something about it.

Just know that once done it will all be behind you then.

It isn't as bad as you think. It will give you the relief you need. Leaving hemroids alone, that don't respond to standard treatments, can cause other problems and make the surgery more urgent.

it's "hemroid" hon and although I suffer from them haven't had surgery, not everyone is a candidate for it. Make sure your doc is being mindful about this, only stages 3 and 4 of the hemorrhois classification require surgery. Get a 2nd opinion if you'd like. And yes, it is very painful, I've heard you cannot sit straight for like a month or so…good luck!

I had hemroid surgery. It was otherwise known as a divorce. Hurt like the devil!

My husband had his done and it is sore for a day or two but the relief from not ever having to worry about the discomfort and bleeding-not to mention possible inflamation(infection) is well worth it.I am waiting to get mine removed next week!!! All they are is a small blood clot caught in the tissue in and ultimately outside of your anus. DO NOT wait for them to appear as large and bad as you might see on the internet as these are drastic examples!!! A small shot of novacaine and the future discomfort is all but gone.

I wouldn't know if it works with broken skin, but for discomfort and itching, vicks salve works wonders. Also works on ridding of swelling. My grandmother told me this & it really works.
