Bleeding While 25 Weeks Pregnant?
I just recently had intercourse and when we finished I was bleeding. It wasn’t exactly alot but it was enough to scare me. My boyfriend was concerned that he did it "too hard" but it wasn’t different from previous times and this is the first time I bled… My sister suggested that it might be hemroids but I couldn’t tell where the blood was coming from and it only bled for about 5 minutes and hasn’t bled since. Also I thought hemroids were painful and I’m not feeling any pain… any suggestions on what this might be?
My Dr. told me that women who are pregnant are extremely sensitive "down there" and it is very common to bleed after sex, or even after a Dr’s exam. If the bleeding was not enough to fill a pad in about an hour or two, was not associated with bad backpain or cramping, and the bleeding has stopped, I think you are just fine.
But always call your Dr. if you need reassurance, that is what they are there for.
Good luck.

I would call my doc! Bleeding can mean many things and you need someone who can check things out and tell you what’s up!

Your boyfriend probably just brushed against your cervix. Don’t worry, it can be normal to spot or bleed lightly after sex as your cervix is really very sensitive right now!
If you are spotting for more than an hour or have any cramping you should call your Dr. but most likely it will stop on its own very soon.
Its like when you get a pap or your cervix checked by the doctor he tells you you may spot afterward.
