i have had a thrombosed hemroid for a week now and cannot find any way away from the pain. i went to a surgeon and they wanted to cut it open. i said wait to see what the obgyn said. i got him to say we could have a c-section in as little as 2 days. im expecting this to be the cure, that they will go away right away. or should i expect to be caring for my c-section wound and my rear end? im scared, and in LOTS of pain. HELP!!!
The C/S itself won’t cure the hemorrhoids but it can help alleviate them. You can always try to schedule the C/S and hemorrhoidectomy at the same time. Just talk to your OB doc.

I have suspected I’ve had IBS for over year. I’ve talked about this with my OB/GYN and I plan to see her again this coming week.
Anyway, I just had an upset stomach episode which is common with IBS. I had a lot of cramping, pain in the stomach and well you get the idea. Anyway, after wiping myself I saw some blood.
I know it is from hemorrhoids since I’ve had them since my first child. I have seen blood before but this time it was kind of dripping some into the pot. I used a Preparation H suppository like I have in the past which always helps.
But after reading some online about this a lot of sites suggested using ICE to help shrink the bleeding hemorrhoid or sitting in a warm bath.
I am wondering about the ice though. How would you apply that? lol
& yes I will see a Dr. this coming week about this.

I have the some problem. Best place to apply ice is whilst on the toilet after doing your "number 1".

help wat do i do i am 16 weeks and 2 days preggoo today yayy lolz but the pain i have after i use the bathroom hurts soo bad!!! anybody please give me some advice or do i have to deal with this for the rest of my pregnancy:(
You can try tucks pads, although they didn’t help me one bit. Preparation H might work, I’ve never tried that. But I’ll tell you what helped me, and it probably sounds nasty, but it might help you too. I just opened my rear end in the shower, let hot water run on my roids, washed thoroughly with DIAL soap (I don’t usually use dial, but that’s the only soap that did it), and then rinse with more hot water. It takes the pain away and makes them heal faster. Trust me, that’s the only relief I got.
You’ll also want a stool softener, you can ask your doctor to prescribe you a stool softener (like Docusate Sodium), or you can take over-the-counter softeners.
Edit: DO NOT LISTEN TO TASHA. Hemorrhoids are VERY common in pregnancies.

They are inside (not visible on the outside) and everyday when I have a BM it husts and they bleed. Any suggestions? Please do not tell me to call the Dr. I will be seeing him at my upcoming appt and know that I need to tell him.
Please let me know if you had this problem and what helped.
Thanks.
i had my son 9 months ago and i still have them. they hurt like hell. sometimes i take a hemorrhoid wipe, and actually stick it between my buttocks and leave it there for a few minutes. i also use stool softener. these help for temporary relief, but they seem to come back every couple of weeks. i know how bad they hurt!!!! good luck!!!

I have had IBS for the past 2 years now and have been dealing with a fissure and internal hemroids I guess for the past year and a half… I have gone through all the testing and ointments diet changing, seen a surgeon about removing it blah blah blah… and basically all they say is that I have to be patient it will heal on its own and I have to make sure I eat lots and lots of Fiber (which I do)
It seems as though red meat like steaks is pretty tough on my system and doesn’t digest properly and seems to reopen my fissure every time I do eat it. The reason why I do even though it bothers me is because I could use the Iron.. i’ve tried iron pills but they make you really constipated thus not helping the fissure heal..
My question is – why is it that it seems to go away for long periods of time.. then all of a sudden boom its there again and it takes just as long to heal which is a pain in the butt… and second.. is this normal for this to happen on and off ..especially for this long?
could be stress. that plays a huge part.
